The Looking Glass

Originally written September 21, 2006

That is good enough for me. Never a phrase more deceitful been expressed by a man of such an extraordinary approach.

And once again we find ourselves through the looking glass. As the song goes, the song remains the same. Follow her through our misty mourn, to the far side of your imagination, of who you are and who you are meant to be.

Where the world stopped making sense and you lived off pure emotion and instinct alone. Take me back to that time, to where in my vision I could do no wrong, where that instinct and lust alone was enough to rue the day.

And once again we find ourselves through the looking glass. Brought back to a time where no one expected what we had in store for them, where we belong, where we are needed.

Rebirth and dissolution. What is and what should never be, what is and what has to be. To call upon everything we were that had gone the way of days of future past, to bring about the big bad one more time. I have got to let you know. You’re one on my kind.

Through the looking glass we find what we were searching for.

And that is good enough for me.
