These strange things happen all the time.
In memory of the Leprechauns. They were a spiteful bunch at first, full of remorse and anger, showing what lied just beyond your reach if you could only man up enough to take that bitch karma into your own hands. Like a desert mirage, they playfully enticed you with dreams and delusions of grandeur, and for awhile they remained just out of reach. That is, until I caught up to them. It didn't take long. You can only expect to throw so much gasoline on the fire.
I chased these Leprechauns from the depths of my imagination and to edge of reality. And tossed them over the balcony. Now there are simply no fears, no distractions, the ability to let that which does and does not matter truly slide. We're in a different place now. There is just this one last moment, this place in time that will never be recaptured. I don't hear no Shangri la calling. One last moment in time to fight the Battle of Evermore, a scavenger hunt to the very end.
Your past has a way of sneaking up on you. You'll hear broken echoes of it everywhere, like a bad replay. You'll get mad at everyone for reminding you about it, even if it's all in your head.
